5 Ways to Celebrate Halloween This Year
Hello Ladies,
It's that time of year again! The leaves are changing color, the air is getting crisp, and best of all, it's almost time for Halloween. This year may be different in a lot of ways, but that doesn't mean you can't still have a spook-tacular time. Here are five fun ways to celebrate Halloween this year.
1. Get crafty with some DIY decorations.
There's nothing like getting into the Halloween spirit by putting up some spooky décor. Whether you want to go all out with a Haunting Harry Potter themed party or keep it simple with some hand-painted pumpkins, DIYing your own decorations is a great way to get into the holiday spirit. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than buying them ready-made!
2. Have a virtual costume party.
Just because you're social distancing doesn't mean you can't still dress up and have some fun! Gather your friends online and have a costume contest complete with prizes. You could even make it a themed party—like Netflix & Chill or 2020: The Year in Review.
3. Make your own candy apples.
Store-bought candy apples just don't compare to the homemade kind. Besides being super delicious, making your own candy apples is also a great way to get into the Halloween spirit. All you need is some apples, candy melts, and whatever toppings you like best.
4. Go on a pumpkin hunt—in your own backyard! If you have kids (or are just young at heart), one of the best things about Halloween is going pumpkin hunting.
But why stop at just pumpkins? You could also try finding ghost peppers, black cats, or spider webs hidden around your yard or house for an extra bit of fun.
5. Check out a haunted house—virtually! There are plenty of spooky virtual tours available online that will let you explore haunted houses from the safety of your own home.
So if you're looking for a good scare this Halloween, look no further than your computer screen!
No matter how you choose to celebrate Halloween this year, remember to have fun and stay safe! Whether you're going all out with decorations or keeping it low-key with a movie night, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the holiday while staying safe and healthy. So put on your costume, grab some candy apples, and get ready for some holiday fun! Happy Halloween! .......XOXO😘
