Yes, those are the traditional colors of Halloween, but that doesn't mean you have to limit yourself. Get festive with purple, green, or even pink!

3. Get everyone involved.

If you have kids or grandkids, put them to work making Halloween crafts to decorate your yard or home. If you don't have kids of your own, borrow someone else's! Nothing gets people into the spirit quite like seeing cute kids dressed up in their costumes.
