Oh, the PMDD is Here Again...
Hello Ladies!
Most women are familiar with the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome, or PMS.
But for some women, the symptoms are much more severe and can be disabling. This condition is called premenstrual dysphoric disorder, or PMDD. Here are some signs that you may have PMDD and what you can do to get support.
1. You dread getting your period every month.
When you have PMDD, your period is not just a nuisance; it's something that you dread and fear. The thought of going through another month of debilitating symptoms is enough to make you want to curl up in a ball and hide until it's over. If this sounds familiar, it's time to talk to your doctor about whether you may have PMDD.
2. Your symptoms are interfering with your work, school, or social life.
If your PMDD symptoms are so severe that they're interfering with your ability to function at work, school, or in social situations, that's a sign that you need help. Don't suffer in silence; talk to your doctor or a mental health professional about how to get relief.
3. You're having suicidal thoughts.
One of the most serious signs of PMDD is suicidal ideation, or thoughts about suicide. If you're having thoughts about harming yourself, it's important to get help immediately. Call a suicide hotline in your country or seek help from a mental health professional right away.
If you're suffering from severe premenstrual symptoms, it's important to seek help from a medical or mental health professional. With proper diagnosis and treatment, you can manage your symptoms and live a full and productive life. ....Until Next Time!...XOXO 💖🤗
