The Hilarious Reason I'm Saying "No" to All My Holiday Invites This Year
Hello Ladies!
It's that time of year again—
the time when your inbox starts filling up with holiday party invitations from friends, family, and co-workers. And while you may be tempted to RSVP "yes" to every single one, there is one very good reason why you should think twice before doing so.
I'm sorry to say that I will not be able to attend your holiday party this year.
In fact, I won't be able to attend any holiday parties this year. The reason? I've been diagnosed with a severe case of the "Grinch." No, really. My doctor says it's a rare condition that causes people to become irritable and grouchy around the holidays. So, you see, it's really not personal. It's just that, well, I'd rather not spread my grumpiness around.
I know it's disappointing, but I promise you that I'll make it up to you next year. In the meantime, enjoy the eggnog and cookies without me! And if you happen to see Santa Claus, tell him I said "hi."
If you're feeling overwhelmed by all the holiday parties you've been invited to this year, take heart! You're not alone.
In fact, there's even a name for it: the "Grinch." So go ahead and RSVP "no" to that party—or any party—with a clear conscience. After all, it's not like you're being rude or anything. You're just saving everyone from your grumpiness! Until Next Time!...XOXO 🍁🧡🍂
